About me and my business:

I graduated J.M. Wright technical school in 1981 with a degree in Machine-Tool. I worked full time in the machining industry and in 1989 I got on the Greenwich Fire dept. While working full time at the fire dept I also worked part time in the machine shop.

Around 1992 the industry got slow and I needed to find another part time job. I answered a newspaper ad and worked for a chimney service in Norwalk for about 3 years.

After getting tired of commuting about 6 days a week and also thinking ‘I can do this for myself” I started “Rick’s Chimney Service” in October 1996 and I have been going strong since then

To date I have over 2200 customers with some that I have been servicing since the beginning. The majority of my jobs come from word of mouth referrals and repeat customers. My business is the kind that you will feel comfortable having back when you need me and referring to your friends and family.

I will return your calls promptly, show up when say I will, do what I say I am going to do, keep your house clean, and give you my honest opinion of your chimney and never try to sell you something that you do not need.
